As an Inclusion Support Worker / Teaching Assistant at this school in Huddersfield, you will offer more than classroom support. You will make connections, develop relationships and help our pupils navigate the path to a better future. This includes:
- Getting the classroom ready for lessons
- Supporting the pupils in class
- Helping those who need extra support
- Completing pupils records
- Taking the lead on specific activities and sessions - using initiative to plan alternative learning
- Providing learning routines at school, in the community and in the family home
THE CANDIDATE
- Experience in a school or similar setting
- IDEALLY experience working with children/ young people with SEN / SEMH needs
- Educated with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent OR willingness to undertake (salary will be reflective of this)
- Car driver with access to own vehicle OR willingness to learn (salary will be reflective of this)
SALARY/ HOURS
Salary for an ISW Inclusion Support Worker £20,916.00 - £22,015.00 actual annual salary working 32.5 hours per week Mon-Fri term time only + 5 inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust (please visit the website for the details)
