Job Responsibility:
Job Title: multiskilled operative
We're looking for a candidate to join our team at WJ Conservation a small conservation company focusing on repairing vernacular buildings within the uk working with like minded foundations such as Historic England,Spab and DHBT
What you could be doing at WJ: We undertake all historic building works ranging from masonry repairs I.e point brick replacements, Carpentry and joinery first fix+second fix, including historic timber repairs plus making new to match I.e mouldings and other joinery items. Carrying out roofing works which can be from fitting sized slate to fitting random diminshing, all aspects of lime works which is crucial knowledge for historic building.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a self-employed semi skilled operative with an eye for detail to join our team, We want to find ambitious hardworking individuals who can increase their own ability and knowledge within historic buildings.
*ability to drive preferred depending
*no qualifications required but can be provided as you progress
*occasionally you will work away
This role is on a self-employed basis but if required we advise if new to sub-contracting.
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: Up to £150.00 per day
