We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic IT and Computing Tutor to join our dedicated team. As a tutor at our college, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the IT professionals of the future and contributing to the success of our students.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop a comprehensive and up-to-date IT and Computing curriculum that aligns with industry standards and the latest technological advancements.

2. Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, practical sessions, and workshops that inspire students to explore and excel in various IT domains, such as programming, software development, networking, cybersecurity, and database management.

3. Provide personalized support and guidance to students, catering to their unique learning needs and ensuring their academic success.

4. Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, projects, and case studies to enhance students' practical skills and problem-solving abilities.

5. Regularly assess students' progress through assignments, exams, and practical assessments. Provide timely and constructive feedback to help them improve their understanding and performance.

6. Keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in the IT and computing field. Integrate industry insights into the curriculum to ensure students are prepared for real-world challenges.

7. Utilize innovative teaching methods, digital tools, and resources to enhance the learning experience and foster a technology-driven educational environment.

8. Act as a mentor to students, offering career guidance and support to help them make informed decisions about their future paths in the IT industry.

9. Monitor and maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and achievements for reporting and administrative purposes.

Requirements:

Hold a Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A teaching qualification of PGCE or Diploma in Education & Teaching.

Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the IT and computing industry or as a tutor/instructor in a similar capacity.

Demonstrate a strong foundation in IT principles, programming languages, operating systems, networking, cybersecurity, and other relevant areas. Proficiency in utilizing various software applications and tools.

Exhibit excellent teaching abilities, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to convey complex concepts effectively and engage students in the learning process.

Be adaptable to the evolving needs of the IT industry and the diverse learning styles of students.
