As we expand, we are excited to welcome a People and Talent Advisor to our vibrant team in Manchester's Spinningfields area.

As a People and Talent Advisor, you will be a vital part of our HR Team, focused on enhancing our talent acquisition strategies and supporting employee development initiatives. You will work closely with hiring managers and employees to attract, recruit, and retain top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to employees and management on HR-related queries
• Support managers with absence management, performance management and adherence to HR policies and processes
• Ensure staff and managers are trained in relevant employment legislation
• Contribute to the enhancement of a positive workplace culture through engagement strategies
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and develop effective job descriptions
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Utilise various channels to attract candidates and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies
• Support employee learning and development initiatives, including training programs and career progression

Requirements

• Proven experience in an HR advisory or talent role
• Good working knowledge of employment law and people processes
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and talent management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems
• Ability to assess candidates' skills and cultural fit
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with strong organizational skills
• Relevant HR qualifications (CIPD level 3, 5 or equivalent) would be a plus
