Great Yarmouth Charter Academy is seeking a reliable, dynamic and responsible person for the role of Behaviour Manager to support students who have been temporarily removed from lessons in the Academy.
The position holder will provide immediate support for behavioural incidents which take place and work with students, parents and staff to support a smooth reintegration back into the learning environment.

The main responsibility of the Behaviour Manager role will be to support and supervise pupils who have been temporarily removed from lessons in the Academy and have been placed in the Behaviour Room.
The ideal candidate will have:
Charter was rated as good by Ofsted in July 2019. Ofsted stated that there are high expectations of behaviour which leads to a calm, purposeful learning environment. The academy believes in outstanding behaviour, clear routines and supporting teachers to deliver subject content. Progress 8 for Charter in 2022 was 0.41, this is in the top 20% of schools nationally.
Over the last two rounds of pupil admissions at year 7 the school is now oversubscribed with first choice pupils. Our job adverts are linked to this growth and our desire to support pupils from our community.
