Job Responsibility:
Are you an experienced administrator with excellent organisation and IT skills, and a flair for customer service? We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Faculty Office Administrator to join Birkbeck's Business & Law Faculty. As Faculty Office Administrator you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our faculty and supporting our dedicated team of professionals.
As a Faculty Administrator, you will:
- Provide vital administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the faculty.
- Maintain and monitor personnel, and health and safety records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with organising meetings, room bookings, and servicing faculty level committees and events.
- Support the faculty's activities and initiatives.
The ideal Faculty Administrator candidate should have:
- A good understanding of administrative systems and office work.
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office, Excel and other database packages.
- Proven administrative work experience in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset.
If you have experience or interest in roles such as Administrative Officer, Office Administrator, Faculty Coordinator, Academic Administrator, or Administrative Assistant, this position could be a perfect fit for you.
Remuneration
£29,392 rising to £32,962 per annum. The salary, Grade 4, quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale.
