As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and organised General Manager to oversee our administrative operations. You will be working directly for the Operations manager.
Role Overview:
As the General Manager (Administrative), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our business. Your responsibilities will span various administrative areas, and you'll collaborate closely with our team to maintain efficiency and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Company Emails:
- Manage and respond to company emails promptly.
- Ensure effective communication within the organisation.
- Procurement and Purchase:
- Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and expenses.
- Credit Ledgers:
- Monitor credit accounts and reconcile ledgers.
- Coordinate with the director to ensure timely payments.
- Social Media:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance our online presence.
- Engage with customers and promote events.
- Recruitment and HR:
- Participate in recruitment efforts for staff positions.
- Conduct staff inductions and provide ongoing training.
- End-of-Week Reporting:
- Compile and analyse weekly reports on key performance metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Payroll:
- Manage payroll processing, including deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Music Updates:
- Coordinate music playlists and entertainment schedules.
- Enhance the overall customer experience.
- Essential Equipment Detailed Cleaning:
- Collaborate with management to maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
- Implement regular cleaning schedules.
- Journal Checking:
- Review and verify financial transactions.
- Keep accurate records for auditing purposes.
- Maintenance Tasks:
- Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring both bars are well-maintained.
- Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Event Planning:
- Organise and oversee events, including special promotions and themed nights.
- Business Development:
- Identify growth opportunities and contribute to planning.
- Bar Operations
- Overseeing and working with the bar team on a weekend and major weeks in the year.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a general manager or similar role.
- In-depth understanding of office management procedures and legal policies.
- Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership skills.
