Job Responsibility:

Are you passionate about working with children and looking to gain some experience this summer? If so, then Bedruthan Hotel and Spa had a fantastic opportunity for you!

Spend the summer by the sea, gaining new and exciting experience working in our Play Space Creche and supporting the organisation and running of our Kids Clubs.

You will be part of a small experienced childcare team, caring for children of all ages, giving parents some time to themselves and helping to make family holidays unforgettable. You will be responsible for delivering safe, exciting, and unique experiences for the children in your care.

Our team is energetic, approachable, and enthusiastic. They have excellent communication skills in a guest-facing role and responsibility for the daily running of Kids' club and the creche. This role requires some experience in working with children and a proactive, positive, and approachable manner. You must also be supportive and flexible, lead by example in adhering to safety policies and procedures and delivering excellent activities. We will ensure training is provided when you join and you receive your Enhanced DBS certification before you start your employment.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure the smooth running of the Kids Club and Play Space creche sessions for children of all ages
• To respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Speak to guests with children to encourage them to book their children onto our sessions
• To liaise directly with parents of the children
• Work with the team to create and run fun, exciting, action-packed programme of activities
• Be proactive and imaginative.
• Deliver a 5 service
• Work as part of a team with great communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekend
• If required you may be asked to support in other areas of the hotel

Essential requirements:

• Experience working with children or a strong interest in working with children
• Endless enthusiasm and a professional and positive attitude towards providing a first class service.
• Be caring and passionate about working with children.
• Excellent guest relations and customer service skills.
• A good communicator who is adaptable resourceful, patient, and diplomatic.
• Good interpersonal skills
