We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced ExecutiveAccommodation Manager to join our dynamic team as we rebrand to voco by IHG Belfast. The first of its kind on the Island of Ireland. Its quite an exciting time to join our team & drive our guest experience.

About the Role:

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Housekeeping Department, embedding the voco by IHG brand and ensuring our guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, driving a culture of clean throughout. You will provide a positive and supportive work environment for your team, fostering a culture of excellence and guest satisfaction. You will be a strong mentor, and coaching and development will be important to you as you grow the skills within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, laundry service, and public area maintenance.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures in line with brand standards to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping team members fostering a culture of teamwork and professionalism.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Manage inventory control and supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and ordering procedures.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, prioritising guest satisfaction.
  • Liaise effectively with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets and resources.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in housekeeping operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a management housekeeping role within a hotel environment. Working within a branded environment is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of exceeding guest expectations and achieving high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Proficient in hospitality industry software and technology.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
