Job Responsibility:
Busy Bees Kindergarten is based in Manningtree and is an independent setting who cares for children aged from 6 months to 5 years.
We are looking for a qualified educator with a suitable Level 2 or Level 3 in Early years, or equivalent.
The current position available is 4 days a week 7.30-5.30. We are open 44 weeks a year with 1 weeks annual leaves allowance in term. The remainder of annual leave is paid over weeks we are closed.

1 week February half term
1 week Easter half term
1 week May/June
1 week July
1 week August/September
1 week October
1.5-2 weeks December/January
Hourly rate starting at a minimum of £11.60 depending on the applicants qualification and experience. Annual salary paid equally over 12 months for 44 week staff. Monthly wage paid for hours worked for 38 week contracted staff with holiday paid in April, August and December.
Monthly bonuses for attendance and CPD training equalling up to £600 extra a year.

Responsibilities:- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate invitations for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment for children to thrive.- Provide individualised care and support to meet the needs of each child.- Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records.- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey.- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional well-being and social development.- Support children with personal care tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and dressing, as needed.- Maintain a clean and organised environment.- Previous experience working in an early years setting or a relevant childcare qualification is preferred.- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and understanding of child development principles.- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences for young children.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
