Job Responsibility:

Are you a Senior Draughtsperson looking for your next opportunity that will provide exposure to international offshore projects? Sealand Projects are currently recruiting for self-motivated individuals seeking to further their career in subsea engineering in support of conventional energy, renewables, and net zero sectors.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Support all necessary drawing office activities as directed and in support of operational requirements.
• Preparation of models, drawings, sketches and other draughting deliverables in line with company processes and applicable codes and standards in support of projects, tenders or internal workscopes.
• Manage workload to ensure delivery of drawings in line with project schedule / planned deadlines and maintain communication with Lead Draughtsperson, project and technical teams on progress of deliverables.
• Perform draughting checks on drawings produced by internal resources and / or subcontractors, ensuring consistency of approach and that the appropriate level of quality is maintained.
• Maintain and, where required, increase proficiency in specialist software packages that are required for delivery of draughting support services.
• Management of subcontractors and suppliers where required.
• Provide draughting services in support of animation and visualisation activities as required.
• Deputise for Lead Draughtsperson as required when out of office or unavailable.

Qualifications:

• Qualified to HNC level or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years relevant Technical Draughting experience.
• Proficient user of technical software required by discipline (as a minimum AutoCAD and Inventor).
• Significant experience in a project environment.
• Developing supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Good communication abilities with strong interpersonal skills.
• Clear self-discipline, time management and organisational skills.
• Familiar with legislation, codes and standards as relevant for area of responsibility
