Job Responsibility:

£35,000-£45,000 Per Annum + Training + Progression + Pension

Full Time 8 - 5pm Monday to Friday. These hours are flexible to allow for a healthy work-life balance.

No weekends or call out.

AMOB UK are looking for a multi-skilled, highly motivated and self-starting individual with great attention to detail to join their growing business in the Service Department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a service technician/engineer role. The role will involve travel throughout the UK to install, service and repair a wide variety of metal fabrication machinery.

There will be a split between field work and the AMOB workshop of roughly 50-/50. Workshop duties include the building and testing of our smaller machines, repairs and upgrades to machines, dispatching sold machines and more. The role will also involve occasional international travel to AMOB's head office in Portugal, we also cover the Middle East, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand. It is a great opportunity to travel the world.

Full product training will be given with year-to-year training plans in place for the successful candidate. As this is a growing business there is fantastic career progression.

Job Description

• Service and repair customer machines.
• Install and train customers on metal fabrication machinery including pillar drills, cold saws, hydraulic presses, tube manipulating machines, fully CNC tube bending machines, and more
• Conduct machine breakdown diagnostics and repair them
• Generate service reports and job sheets following service work being completed
• Support office staff with technical information when required.

Skills necessary to fulfil the role

• Service, engineering or maintenance background
• Self-starter, motivated, and able to take initiative
• Able to follow service procedures
• High attention to detail
• Full UK Driver's License
• Happy to work flexible hours
• Electrical or mechanical fault finding skills
• Hydraulic knowledge desirable but not essential
• IT literate
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to travel internationally (passport)
• FLT licence desirable but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
