Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Psychology & Therapy Graduates Wanted
We are working with a Primary School based in North West London, Brent, that is looking for a graduate for the position of SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time contracted position, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for the academic year 2024/2025 to continue after this on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate should hold an Undergraduate/master’s Degree (e.g. Psychology, Therapy etc) and have a strong academic background. Some related experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Aspiring psychologists/Therapists will benefit most from this position.
The school has stated that they are happy to consider individuals who are “light on experience, but a willingness to learn is a must”.

Day to day as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Working 1:1 or with groups of students with various behavioural needs e.g. Autism, Global Delay, ASD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Sensory Integration Disorder,
- Intervention work
- Liaising with SENCO, Therapists & Psychologist
- Supporting development by creating tailored plans
