The Role:

As an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing individualized support to children with ASD. Here’s what the role entails:

· Personalized Support: Working closely with students on a one-on-one basis, you’ll tailor your support to meet their specific needs and learning styles.

· Structured Learning: Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalized education plans, ensuring that each child has the tools and resources they need to succeed.

· Social Skills Development: Facilitating social skills development and promoting peer interaction in a supportive and inclusive environment.

· Sensory Integration: Creating sensory-friendly environments and incorporating sensory activities into daily routines to support children’s sensory integration needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

While formal qualifications are desirable, we value practical experience and a genuine passion for supporting children with ASD. Relevant qualifications and experiences may include:

· Previous experience working with children with ASD

· Training in autism-specific interventions and strategies

· Qualifications in special education or related fields

· Certifications in behavior management techniques

· Experience in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
