Role: QA Team Leader (IT)

Location: Leeds, LS15 (with hybrid working after completion of training)

Salary: £60-£65k per annum plus extensive benefits

Contract type: Permanent

Employment type: Full time

Working hours: 40 hours pw, Monday to Friday

In this key role you will be responsible for hands on testing of Pharmacy2U core internal systems, web and mobile, writing and undertaking both manual and automated test cases for various projects. Responsible for a growing team of testers and undertaking core line management duties. We currently utilise a mixture of manual and automated quality assurance testing for our product suite, for this we utilise the following tools – Katalon studio, Browserstack and Postman.

What you’ll be doing?

Act as an escalation point for stakeholders/product owners/QA testers for any bug queries, helping to remove blockers and allow testing work to progress

Own manual and automation testing best practices, working with automation testers to make sure manual scenarios are automated for our regression packs

Mentor and advise other QA Testers on P2U testing standards

Work closely with the Head of Development and other technical leaders to help improve the Development departments ways of working

Work closely within project squads to push projects through to deadline

Who are we looking for?

Experience in test plan creation, test case development and execution using Gherkin Syntax or equivalent

Knowledge of Quality assurance best practices and testing methodologies

Experience with developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Groovy or equivalent

Experience with automated testing applications (Katalon Studio/Test Ops, Postman or equivalent)

Experience with commercial defect management systems (Katalon/Jira Software or equivalent, and of working within an Agile development environment

Experience working as either a manual or automated QA tester within an agile environment

Great at communicating and interacting with others
