Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic National Sales Support Manager to lead and drive our sales efforts across 18 care homes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, preferably within the healthcare or senior living sector. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
The National Sales Support Manager will play a critical role in driving sales performance, managing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and a deep understanding of the market dynamics and regulatory environment in the care home sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning
- Implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive occupancy and revenue growth across all homes.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Implement sales targets and ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
- Provide training and development programs to enhance skills and performance in the homes
- Conduct Sales & Marketing audits and provide constructive feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential residents, families, and referral sources.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare professionals and organisations to drive referrals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
Marketing and Promotion
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Assist and participate in events, open houses, and community events to enhance brand visibility.
- Utilise digital marketing tools and social media to reach a wider audience.
Sales Operations and Reporting
- Assist with the implementation of sales processes and systems.
- Monitor sales metrics and generate regular reports to track performance against targets for all homes
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results to the Head of Sales
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software Microsoft Office, Excel & PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel as required
