Big Apple is a children’s leisure and activity centre and cafe; offering a combination of fun and good quality food and entertainment, in a family friendly environment.
We are looking for a part time supervisor with exceptional customer skills who will share our dedication to achieve our goals. The successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day management of the centre to ensure our team gives all our visitors a great experience each time they come to Big Apple.
The successful candidate will have front of house experience in a leisure or retail environment, ideally a soft play business. Operational management, supervisory experience and a first aid certificate would be advantageous.
Hours will be organised flexibly on a weekly rolling rota with other management team members, which will include working some weekends. There will also be scope for additional hours.
Main Duties.
- Effective supervision of staff and visitors within the centre, ensuring their safety
and well being at all times.
- Responsibility for all operational aspects of the venue during General Manager’s
absence.
- Co-ordinating staff resources to ensure appropriate staffing provision is
made at all times.
- Managing customer service within the centre ensuring all concerns are managed and
the highest level of service is offered at all times.
- Guaranteeing the venue exceeds standards at all times whether regulatory or
otherwise.
- Daily checks of facilities and equipment and organising appropriate maintenance.
- Ensuring staff adhere to all regulation and legislation
- Contribute to the business development and planning.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.00-£12.50 per hour
