Job description – Parts Advisor and Warehouse Controller

Carey Cleaning Machines is a leading provider of cleaning machines in Northern Ireland with a rapidly expanding business in the Republic of Ireland. It has a reputation for solving cleaning problems, providing innovative technology and first-class service to customers. As part of its expansion plans it now wishes to add a Parts Advisor and Warehouse Controller to the team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

· Purchase Spare parts

· Booking parts into stock using the internal job management software

· Kitting & dispatching of daily spares

· Boxing items for delivery

· Deal with engineer parts queries

· Control parts stock based on min/max stock levels to ensure optimum availability to maximise first time fix

· Liaise with suppliers on any parts supply issues

· Work with engineers to ensure optimum van stock of high turnover parts

· Utilise our IT based service system in support of all the above

· Unloading & loading lorries

· Forklift duties

· Receiving Goods from suppliers

· Ensure effective stores operations and disciplines

· Prepare kits for engineers (minimise need for engineers to be at HQ)

· Work closely with other members of the Carey team

· Preparing equipment for lease & demonstrations

· Assisting with the build of new machines

· Be the initial point of contact for customers arriving onsite

· Washing equipment returned from lease & demonstrations

· Tagging machines with internal and external identification marks

· Ensure high standards of housekeeping in the stores

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have the following:

· Ability to plan ahead with regards parts required for jobs to achieve first time fix

· Comfortable working with IT based planning systems

· Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

· The ability to work on their own and as part of a wider team

· A self-motivated team player with high attention to detail

· Full UK Driving licence

· HGV Licence desirable , Forklift Licence desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
