Job Description :

Job Overview:The Maples are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support their under 3s. This is an opportunity to join a Curiosity Approach day nursery set in 7 acres of botanical land at Winterbourne House and Gardens. The rate of pay is based on only 36 hours a week and also includes 25 days bookable and all bank holidays and University closed days are paid.

Duties:- Lead and supervise nursery staff in the under 3`s provision alongside a knowledgeable and friendly team, providing guidance and support- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external professionals- Manage daily operations of the nursery, including administrative tasks- Drive continuous improvement in nursery practices and standards

Experience:- Recent leadership experience within an early years setting- Qualifications in childcare or early childhood education at a level of 3 or above- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written- Proven experience working with children in a nursery environment and positive references- Ability to effectively manage a nursery team and resources alongside the management team
