Join our Retail Sales team in Digital Sales Support. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in Technology Distribution. You will gain exposure to various products and learning opportunities across systems and sales. In this role you will be working on behalf of major online retailers and supporting data entry for multiple digital platforms. As part of this role, you will learn to develop your skills around data, systems efficiency, as well as product knowledge. This role is crucial to enabling our online sales channels and digital market opportunities. We are looking for a driven individual with a growth mindset, with an eye for attention to detail and keen to get stuck in. At CMS Distribution we value your career development, and this role provides an exciting opportunity to learn new skills. Over time, you will have the opportunity to take on training courses including obtaining an apprenticeship.
Role Responsibilities
- Industry Understanding: Grow your knowledge of the distribution industry, the drivers of a sales team, and all associated aspects.
- Data Inputting: Accurately input data into our digital platforms.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure all entered data is correct and up to date.
- Systems Training: Upskilling on CMS Store, Master Data, Linnworks, SAP systems, and more.
- Digital Platforms: Use various digital platforms and understand how to create products effectively, catering to each platform.
- Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of our products and offerings. Build your knowledge of our various vendors and how our digital platforms contribute to their sales.
- Customer Knowledge: Understand the impact your role has on our customers, understand their needs, and ensure our digital sales channels meets or exceeds their expectations.
- Excel Skills: Learn how to use and develop fundamental Excel skills.
- Time Management: Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Always act as an ambassador and representative of CMS Distribution to ensure professional image for the Company. Actively contribute and act as a role model to the CMS values.
- Join weekly sales meetings with the wider Retail team to build your knowledge on our market, whitespace opportunities, product offering, sales channels.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with colleagues and customers on phone and email.
