We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team specializing in Finance for our Engine Business Segment in Darlington.

This is a Permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible hybrid office hours with the expectation that the training period is office based.

Salary is up to £35,000 depending on skills and experience.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supervises day to day team tasks with assistance from Senior Accountant

  • Performs month end journals and reconciliations relating to revenue and receivables as required.

  • Responsible for revenue related quarter end and year end reporting required for statutory accounts and SDM submissions.

  • Prepares and submits the VAT return for the site.

  • Assists wider business with queries relating to customer pricing, shipments, and payments.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Proficient in excel.

  • Knowledge of Oracle would be desirable.

  • Be able to manage the daily activities of a team.

  • Good communications skills

  • Must be able to manage workload to align with business needs.

  • Good attention to detail

  • Financial background would be an advantage.
