Using your skills in turning, milling, grinding, forming, cutting, tool making and CNC programming you will complete New Product Introduction support, creating jigs and fixtures. Production support creating tooling, small batch production, aftermarket repairs. You will also support our facilities team with repairs and fixes. You will also be part of the planning of the machine shop, looking at materials, workload, scheduling and costing. All of these tasks need to be completed to a high quality and with safety first.

Minimum Qualifications

At GE Aerospace we look to develop our employees with the skills they need. For this role you will have need to have complete a level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship (machinist)

The machine shop role is varied, for you to be successful you will need to have the ability and willingness to work flexibility, on multiple tasks. A board experience in operating machinery and a willingness to learn new skills and technology is also a must.
