Are you passionate about content creation for digital channels? Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and produce relevant content from scratch? We're looking for a social media manager to join our Investment Bank Marketing team to create content and manage our LinkedIn channel to help our audiences understand what makes UBS stand out from the rest. Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the Investment Bank's social media activities; creating content, managing editorial calendar, aligning content and themes across our global team, scheduling posts and responding to comments.
- Create a social media strategy that aligns to what we want to be known for, allowing us to showcase the best of the Investment Bank across digital channels
- Create, launch and successfully deliver paid social media campaigns; ensuring user journey through the funnel is tracked, monitored and optimized
- Build, test and rollout audience tactics to reach clients, prospects and future talent and grow our organic audience
- Create best in class marketing assets that are on-brand that are optimised for social media and associated user journeys.
- As the subject matter expert, review and update social media guidelines, procedures, and training materials in collaboration with compliance colleagues, ensuring that they reflect the latest industry standards and best practices.
- Manage the Investment Bank's employee social media program, including the expansion to other business areas and locations, working with employees to develop content which aligns to business ambitions.
- Establish benchmarks and performance targets for key metrics, setting clear goals and objectives to measure the success of social media initiatives over time.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into the effectiveness of social media campaigns, highlighting successes, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct benchmarking exercises to evaluate the bank's social media performance against industry standards and competitors, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas of differentiation.

From the get-go, you'll be right in the heart of the Investment Bank based in our London office, but also work closely with colleagues from other locations. You'll gain exposure to all corners of the Investment Bank, from the trading floors to the operations functions, dealing with a wide range of peers, internal clients and stakeholders. The Investment Bank's Marketing team provides strategic, advisory, planning and creative execution services to support and deliver client marketing and communication activities, helping UBS meet its strategic business objectives and revenue targets. Using the full range of marketing tools and channels, the team produces targeted, timely and cost-effective solutions, delivered within UBS's brand, legal, and operation standards.
Your expertise
- B2B experience within financial institutions including compliance requirements and regulations governing social media activities.
- In-depth knowledge of LinkedIn platform features, advertising options, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft content tailored to different audiences.
- At least five years of experience in content marketing, advertising, marketing communication or journalism
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure performance, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
- Creative thinker with a passion for staying up-to-date with social media trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and regulations governing financial institutions' social media activities.
