As a Barclays Payments Product Manager, you will design, build and manage products on an E2E basis that generate sustainable returns by helping clients to achieve their business ambitions in the right way - such as making their banking easier and enabling their business to grow. You will also be driving the product set growth agenda globally forwards, by defining and delivering on strategy and key initiatives. What will you be doing?
- Adopting an innovative, risk based and client focused approach when designing and changing products
- Combining client insight with a solid grasp of the financial, risk and operational underpinnings of the product to recommend propositions that solve client problems
- Owning the end-to-end client journey. Ensure that the core processes that support the product are robust and deliver the right outcome for our clients
- Owning periodic Product Reviews and oversee regulatory compliance, adherence to operating model and ownership of regulatory impacts
- Defining and commercialising product strategy and actively scan the external environment to identify any risks and opportunities to your product line
- Monitoring of key industry trends, competitive developments and changes in customer needs/behaviour to contribute to the product development agenda
- Working with colleagues in Coverage, Product and the Sales Specialist teams to forecast future customer demand & monitor that demand
- Supporting the development of internal and external regulatory change assessments
What we're looking for:- Experience of working with technology to deliver solutions - Problem solving, Planning & Resourcing, Innovation and continuous improvement
- In-depth knowledge of Domestic and International Payments
- Experience with setting product strategy and roadmaps
- Deep knowledge of product lifecycle discipline and E2E processes

Where will you be working? In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within. You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
