The Position

As Staff Canteen Chef you will be required to prepare healthy, balanced and tasty food for our colleagues, mainly for lunch and dinner. The role also includes food safety due diligence, as well as stock ordering, menu planning and dietary needs.

Our staff canteen serves food to a high standard using all fresh ingredients in a buffet style set up. The menus are rotated regularly in order to keep the dishes fresh and exciting for the staff members. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and have a strong desire to improve on your skills and knowledge.

You will be expected to have an understanding of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation and full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, allergens, methods of production and presentation standards. Assess quality control and adhere to service standards and food safety regulations. You will strive to develop good working relationships and positive interactions with all team members and have the ability to find solutions to any small problem.
