For this position, ZOLL Medical UK is looking for a qualified candidate to provide technical support and assistance the LifeVest Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD). The LifeVest is prescribed to patients who have a known risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), and protects these patients until a long term treatment option has been identified. The LifeVest is lightweight and easy to wear, allowing patients to return to their activities of daily living, while having the peace of mind that they are protected from SCA. The LifeVest continuously monitors the patient's heart and, if a life-threatening heart rhythm is detected, the device delivers a treatment shock to restore normal heart rhythm without any bystander intervention.
ZOLL Medical UK is looking for a qualified candidate to provide technical support for patients wearing the LifeVest.
Job Description and Areas of responsibility
After an intensive 6 months TechSupport training program your main tasks will include:
- Be first point of contact for patients and physicians regarding LV questions (24/7) and provide individual solutions by phone
- Analysis of ECG and further technical data and take appropriate action including documentation according to ZOLL guidelines
- Inventory Management/ stocktaking: coordinate replacement of individual LifeVest components as required and proper return of the replaced components for maintenance together with external Logistic partner and Sales team
- Shift coordination for 24/7 technical support and telephone hotline management
- Network Management (Input of patient data and information in online portal, registration of new accounts and managing login, creation of clinical center codes for individual prescriber, sending ECG reports to physicians upon request, de-activate patient after LV treatment)
- Support for other Emerging Markets EMEA
- Support with UK related Order- and Invoicing Management tasks
- Patient fitting
Educations and/or Experience:
- Fluency in written and spoken English language is required
- At least 3+ years of past professional experience
- Past experience in a clinical / hospital environment preferred
- Past experience working as a Technical Assistant would be a benefit
- Experience in Medical Sector / Medical Device would be a benefit
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Motivated, independent, respectful, friendly, team-oriented individual with well-developed interpersonal skills both internally with co-workers and externally with patients and customers
- Previous experience in the medical/hospital sector is preferred
- Goal-oriented thinking with a strong hands-on mentality and persistent approach
