We offer a diverse range of roles and development opportunities, so there's something for everyone here. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your career to the next level, we have the resources and support you need to succeed.

When people think of Severn Trent, they immediately think of water and waste - and that's only natural - it's our bread and butter after all… but you might not realise we have a thriving Transport team who currently repair and maintain a fleet of over 2,900 vehicles! From company cars to water tankers, we ensure that Severn Trent can safely transport equipment, valuable resources, and our teams around safely and efficiently from A to B, day in day out.

We're looking for a Fleet Maintenance Scheduler to join our team in Coventry who will be responsible for coordinating the operational and fleet maintenance requirements and scheduling delivery with our workshops and external repair network.

If you've working in scheduling before or have a keen eye for detail, read on for more information!

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

In this role, you'll manage the end-to-end scheduling of our fleet scheduled maintenance such as servicing, MOTs and inspections in line with regulatory requirements.

As well as scheduling, you'll keep us compliant by monitoring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and providing admin support by dealing with ad hoc queries from your stakeholders.

You'll manage the fleet maintenance schedule to ensure customers, regulatory and business needs are managed, and expectations are met.

You'll be a skilled scheduler who can maximise day to day performance across our workshop estate with effective work scheduling to provide a seamless and effective service offering to our customers.

Developing relationships is key for you to respond appropriately to requirements. You'll send out reminders and chase no shows.

You'll be based in our headquarter office in Coventry Monday-Friday which you can get to with ease.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Someone who has worked in Planning or Scheduling previously would excel in this role, especially as we'd love to develop a future schedule for our fleet.

You'll enjoy adhering to regulations and push the team to be compliant with our fleet inspections and checks.

A keen eye for detail is important - you'll get things right first time and accurately.

If you are aware of CPC, that would be a bonus but not essential.

The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too.

We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities.
