WHAT YOU'LL DO
Join our dynamic Global L&D communications team as a Global Email Marketing & Analytics Manager and spearhead our email campaigns to drive learner engagement and business growth. You will utilize your expertise in email marketing strategy and email marketing automation, focusing on the SFMC Automation Studio, and analytics to deliver impactful and personalized marketing while partnering with our Communications Managers and stakeholders. A problem solver and creative thinker at heart, this individual enjoys understanding data and building innovative approaches and strategies. You will execute, collaborate, measure, optimize, and iterate upon marketing efforts to improve and influence learner engagement. Join our dynamic Global L&D Communications team as a Global Email Marketing & Analytics Manager and lead our email campaigns to drive learner engagement and business growth. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in email marketing strategy and email marketing automation, focusing on the SFMC Automation Studio, and analytics to deliver impactful and personalized marketing campaigns. As a key member of our team, you will partner with Communications Managers and stakeholders, applying your problem-solving skills and creative thinking to develop innovative strategies. You will be responsible for executing, collaborating, measuring, optimizing, and iterating on marketing efforts to enhance learner engagement. You will also be responsible for representing our team as a subject mater expert on cross-functional projects that impact any email marketing efforts. YOU'RE GOOD AT
Analytics and Strategy
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to stakeholders and use insights to inform and improve future campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with all email regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act).
- Communicate analytical insights through synthesis and packaging of results (including visualizations and PowerPoint slides).
- Collect, and analyze team learning & inputs into new best practices and methodologies.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, and potential opportunities.
- Develop insightful, visually compelling, and engaging dashboards that support decision making.
- Utilize and enable UTM coded links and Google Analytics to develop and report on robust campaign performance metrics
Stakeholder and Project Management
- Partner with our Global Operations team and IT Agile enable the integration of APIs and customer data to build personalized email campaigns.
- Partner with the Communications Managers to strategize, consider the art of the possible, and manage stakeholders.
- Engage with and present to stakeholders regularly, informing them of campaign progress and performance, outcomes, and strategic direction.
- Establish credibility by thought partnering with teams on analytics topics.
- Operate within a fast-paced agile environment where you actively partner with end-users and team members of both functional and technical backgrounds.
Email Marketing Execution and Optimization
- Build, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns using SFMC. Utilize HTML and email best practices to ensure campaign success.
- Utilize Journey Builder and Automation Studio to deliver complex, multi-step automated email workflows.
- Write, edit, and enhance email copy; this role will require light copywriting for a global audience
- Oversee the email marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns and QA all active campaigns.
- Solve complex problems related to customer segmentation and campaign performance.
- Represent and collaborate with other BCG email marketing teams to grow our knowledge base, adopt best practices, and elevate our capabilities.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in email marketing, specifically using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Demonstrated expertise in SFMC Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
- Strong copywriting and editorial skills; attention to detail is critical
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to strategize complex automation flows.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of effectively engaging stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
- Certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Google Analytics Certification
- Experience in HTML/CSS for email design.
- Knowledge of email compliance and legal requirements.
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
