Job Responsibility:
Our Showroom Sales person reports to the sales director, and for most customers, is the first point of contact they have when dealing with Balmers GM. This person is responsible for delivering a first class experience for all customer's who wish to purchase machinery form our showroom.
The role is based from our Wakefield Depot, but from time to time you may be required to assist in other locations, this may be other depots, or called upon for sales at events and county shows.

We sell machinery from world leading brands such as John Deere, Stihl, Husqvarna, Timberwolf, Predator, SCAG & Wiedenmann to name but a few.
Job Role & Description:
· Represents the Dealership in the sale of machinery to customers.
· Executes all sales process steps to achieve high sales performance in conjunction with the sales tools available.
· Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment, services potentially saleable by the dealership and attends relevant sales training events.
· Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
· Monitors competitor activity and products and communicates to the sales Management accordingly.
· Builds strong and loyal relationships with customers.
· Monitors trends in customers' business activities and timely communicates to management.
· Uses support from Sales Specialist when required.
· Uses the principles of merchandising and retailing to enhance the customer experience and showroom layout to increase profitability.
· Plans stock re-ordering with sales manager to take advantage of manufacturer promotions.
· Maintains merchandise displays in accordance with seasonal and specific sales programs.
· Advises customers when needed.
· Assists in keeping displays clean, fresh and tidy.
· Communicates effectively with other Balmers staff to ensure the smooth transition of machinery between branches.
· Analyses profitability per segment of the showroom: i.e. products & location.
· Keeps abreast of competitor activities.
· Process' sales administration - sales invoices & warranty registrations.
· Works closely with service department to ensure machine PDI's are completed in a timely manner.
Saturday Morning work on a rota basis.
