Function: Automatic Speech Recognition

We're seeking a passionate speech expert dedicated to cutting-edge speech technology to join our team. Your role will be to immerse yourself in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), focusing on building end-to-end ASR systems that facilitate real-time, natural, and prosodic speech generation. You will bring your innovative ideas, manage and prepare messy data, train our ASR models, and be at the forefront of research and model development in Speech AI.

Who is Right for the Role?

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Speech & Signal Processing, Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• 1-2 years of commercial experience with Speech/ASR technologies.
• Strong understanding of speech and language processing, speech recognition, natural language generation, and machine translation.
• Expertise in one or more of the following: Acoustic modelling, language modelling, Speech Enhancement, Speaker Adaptation, Multilingual ASR, and Prosody modelling.
• Genuine enthusiasm for speech technologies.
• Eager to tackle new challenges.
• Comfortable in a collaborative environment, sharing insights on the latest developments and research papers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
