Overview: Pen Underwriting, one of the markets' leading MGAs, has an opportunity for a Telephone Account Manager responsible for maintaining and developing business with new and existing customers. Your aim is to maximise profitable revenues and continual business growth by ensuring effective day to day servicing of clients' accounts. This role will suit someone with fantastic people skills and you will plenty of opportunity to develop and grow at Pen! You'll be working with our productive and dedicated team of Account Managers you can learn your trade from their experience and wisdom.   • Pro-active day to day management of clients' accounts
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management to ensure that our products are fully understood and meet the client's requirements
  • To run product campaigns in line with business requirements to help generate revenue opportunities
  • Deal promptly and efficiently to enquiries received via all communication channels
  • Ability to analyse data to support the generation of leads for the Sales and trading teams, via various virtual mediums
  • Support with the development and implementation of documentation to support with the efficiency of the role
About you: What skills can you bring to the role?
  • Experience working in a client-facing or insurance role, we're flexible!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to listen to, and interpret, stakeholder requirements and translate into effective solutions/outputs
  • Detail orientated, analytical and inquisitive, with the ability to solve problems
  • Evidence of innovative thinking
  • Willingness to take responsibility to ensure objectives are achieved
  • Excellent IT proficiency, with a particular focus MS Office
  • Eligible to work in the UK
