Making A Difference as A Virtual School Deputy Headteacher - Education of Care Experienced Children in Virtual School The successful applicant will be based within the Virtual School, supporting the bespoke needs of our children and young people, addressing, and removing barriers to learning and developing the offer and support for Previously Looked After Children and children and young people in Kinship Care. This post will oversee attendance and behaviour, the use of Alterative Provision and school placements. The successful applicant will also work with the School Effectiveness Team in ensuring schools and education settings have appropriate use of Alternative Provision and providing additional support and intervention where required. Any applicants will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of the educational needs of vulnerable children, as well any key documentation or legislation pertaining to the role.
