Job Responsibility:

The Barnet area of CLCH is looking for a dynamic, motivated and highly skilled administrator to join our Looked after Children's Team. The post holder will need excellent communication, customer service, administration and IT skills to support the team to deliver a high-quality service to our clients and professional partners. The applicant will need to show skills in management and supporting of running a busy team. The role is based at Oak lane Clinic. The successful post holder will be supported in developing skills and knowledge through the Performance Appraisal and Development Review. The post includes:
  • Disseminating Health assessments and health care plans
  • Disseminating Movers on Booklets
  • Collection of other additional health or medical information relevant to individual children as required
  • Making appointments with foster carers to statutory health assessments
  • The post holder will provide a comprehensive and high quality administrative support to the team.
  • The post holder will act as a point of contact for patients, colleagues and external partners and appropriately manage communications within the team
  • The post holder will take responsibility for referral, visit and appointment administration as appropriate to the role, and communicating appointment related information to patients/carers.
  • Utilising both NHS and LA IT systems, processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to apply professional administrative skills in processing referrals
  • The post holder will have responsibility to contribute to ensuring KPI's are met.
Your ability to effectively use computer systems to record information is essential. You will also need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
