People Team Leader, you'll be the face of the People Team with our customers. You'll be responsible for supporting people through the moments that matter during the employee life cycle. You'll be their first point of contact and you'll provide a high quality and customer focused service whilst always trying to make things better.
Our Role Leading on all compliance matters relating to data protection, right to work, immigration, sponsorship and DBS checks. Supporting the team to ensure compliant regulatory processes, specifically ensuring all legislative and legal requirements are delivered and maintained across the business in a fast paced, dynamic, proactive working environment. Guiding and support the People Operations team on day-to-day tasks, role modelling excellence and ensuring a first-class service to our customers.
Here's some of what's involved: (Click through to read the full job description) Coach the team People Operations team to ensure they are developing and performing in their role. Drive a high performance, customer focused approach to compliance to maximise and improve team performance. Ensure the compliance obligations are met throughout the PS administration process. Provide advice and guidance to the People team and the business as/when legislation changes, developing and delivering comprehensive training and briefings when required. Build/ maintain excellent operational working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues. Ensure the business remains compliant within its legal requirement for DBS checks, right to work and immigration and all related administration processes are defined and adhered to through regular reporting and monitoring. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure policy and guidance documentation is in line with legislative changes. Manage the visa application process for staff, including issuing certificates of Sponsorship (CoS), ensuring the manager and applicant are kept up to date with progress.
Bring your experience Great stakeholder management Strong demonstrable experience of enhancing team dynamics and motivation Development of clear, well-structured policies and process documents Effective evidence-based management using a ticketing system Demonstrable track record of identifying and embedding process improvements Prior payroll management experience CIPD level 7 or equivalent experience
