The role As a Collaborative Platform Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working for the SharePoint Lead within Digital Solutions, you will provide support, implementation, and continuous reviews across our collaborative portal services. Day to day, you'll be responsible for working with some of Babcock's most exciting customers, supporting the deployments of IT Portals Online across the organisation.

  • Assist in the administration of SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter Sites and the Data contained within
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and other working practices.
  • Provide updates and recommendations to the SharePoint Lead and support implementation of any improvement actions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for further use of SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter within the business, championing its use and capabilities
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working knowledge of SharePoint, Oracle WebCenter and other collaborative portal services.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Collaborative Platform Administrator:

  • Experience of software configuration, configuring sites, document libraries, lists, site structures and permissions.
  • Some exposure to scripting languages.
  • Ability to operate within a hybrid working team, build relationships across the organisation and be self-managed to deliver outcomes.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn and develop a career within an IT Based environment.
