Job Introduction

This post is responsible for carrying out dog and litter bin emptying on pre-determined routes throughout the City of Worcester whilst driving a 7.5-ton refuse vehicle.

Candidates must feel confident to complete all duties, be able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions, have excellent customer care skills and be willing to undertake any necessary training to fully complete the role. Where weekend working is required, this will be allocated on a rota. We are looking for a person who enjoys a challenge and who can fit into a team of people or work alone competently and confidently. Applicants must be committed to the service and strive to provide a high level of customer service standards to the people of Worcester.

The ideal candidate will have,

• experience of working within a street cleansing environment.
• the ability to work unsupervised to carry out required tasks to a high standard.

Great team working and communication skills are essential.
