About the role

Our innovative thinking shapes our industry; equipping the world for tomorrow's challenges. Join our Regional Civils team as a Sub Agent on our Devonport Dockyard project based in Plymouth.

As a Sub Agent you will lead and control a section of the works, according to a specific discipline whilst also managing a team of Section Engineers & Site Engineers.

What you'll be doing

As a Sub Agent you will:

  • Be able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately. Suggests and implements improvements to systems
  • Take ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity; experienced at encouraging direct reports to do the same and managing a team to ensure tasks are carried out effectively and key messages cascaded
  • Have ability to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility
  • Hold a current driving license and CSCS Card. SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
  • Have full understanding of technical requirements and techniques of setting out and coaching of team members.
Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

  • BSc/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering
  • Experience of NEC forms of contract
  • Hold a CSCS/SSSTS Card
  • Civil Engineering experience
