We are recruiting for a Campaign Delivery Executive / Campaign Delivery Specialist to join our team.

This role offers a great opportunity in direct marketing working for a leading charitable organisation.

These are exciting times at the National Trust as we continue to transform our data and technology capabilities to grow engagement with our audiences and their support for our cause. We are looking for a direct communications executive to join the Supporter Data & Customer Journeys Team and set up and deliver our direct service communications on our new marketing automation solution; Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your technical and data skills to shape and deliver service communication journeys that are targeted, personalised and relevant to National Trust supporters.

Please note the advertised salary is inclusive of a £10k reviewable market supplement. Your base salary will be £ 36,621k and you will receive the market supplement as an allowance on top.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing:As a Direct Communications Executive, you will design and build workflows and be part of a team responsible for the successful delivery of 4 million email and direct mail communications every month. You will use your technical and data skills to ensure service campaigns and journeys are built in a robust, maintainable and repeatable fashion. Accuracy and attention to detail will be your bread and butter ensuring the highest standards of campaign output whilst remaining compliant with the latest data protection legislation.

You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile working environment embedding best practice techniques to support a varied set of objectives for our Membership and Fundraising teams.

You'll collaborate with key stakeholders and operational colleagues to deliver and enhance our real time transactional emails and membership renewals programme by providing expert knowledge of supporter data and communication journey techniques.

You'll be confident in the application of campaign optimisation and measurement techniques, translating data briefs into elegant campaign workflows that will include customised segmentation, personalisation and tracking logic.

You'll use data and automation to create and maintain personalised campaigns that integrate seamlessly with our digital platforms. You'll develop your knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and help the Trust to leverage the capabilities of the broader Salesforce platform.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • A wealth of experience of working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Excellent understanding of customer data and relational database structures
  • Strong data manipulation skills and coding experience e.g. SQL, AMPscript, HTML
  • Knowledge of marketing automation solutions and campaign workflows
  • Strong understanding of data protection legislation and its practical application in direct marketing
  • Understanding of digital customer journeys, taking these from design through to implementation
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues and effectively communicate these to stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
