About the Role As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Assurance Manager. The main objectives of your role is to provide Quality Support for merger and acquisitions, new product introductions and onboarding of new suppliers. You will be a specialist in new legislation and market requirements. The supplier Assurance team are responsible for the Quality related aspects of Supplier Management, ensuring Technical/Quality Agreements, API declarations are maintained and Self inspection program are in place and executed, with necessary corrective and preventive actions implemented. The role requires cross-functional/departmental interaction working closely with Supply Chain, Supplier Alliance, Regulatory, Operational Projects, New Product Introduction and Quality.
What You'll Do:- Support merger and acquisitions within the quality function
- Leadership, management and mentoring of the supplier assurance team.
- Establish objectives and KPIs and evaluate and report associated metrics.
- Establish effective and compliant systems for supplier assurance and maintain SOPs for area of responsibility
- Ensuring Technical agreements are in place and maintained for all third party finished product suppliers, manufacturers of active substances used in ADVANZ PHARMA products (where applicable), agents, distributors, contract testing laboratories and other GxP suppliers (excluding pharmacovigilance and regulatory suppliers/partners).
- Responsible for maintaining approved suppliers' lists.
- Responsible for maintaining the Internal Self Inspection programme
- Responsible for performing a risk assessment for the continued use of supplier assessing the potential quality impact of the supplier
- Responsible for applicable integration activities (technical agreements) for company acquisitions in coordination with the project management team.
- Ensure rapid actions to any supplier issues that may impact quality, safety and/ or efficacy related incidents that may risk the patient's safety and or product quality
- Achieve and maintain inspection readiness for supplier assurance.
- Lead major quality related incidents resolution and provide guidance and solutions to technical and quality related issues.
- Carry out external / internal audits as required.
- Achieve and maintain excellent cross functional working.
- Lead/manage significant improvement projects associated with supplier assurance.
- Other activities as may be required, at the discretion of management.

Qualifications:- Graduate in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology or equivalent
- Post graduate qualification in a relevant scientific discipline
- External auditing qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to include senior management and third-party suppliers
- Well organised with logical & methodical approach to work
- Sound problem-solving skills
