Job Description Job purpose
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client Tax team in Bristol
This role will provide tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of private clients - individuals, trusts, private companies and family offices.,
Key Responsibilities
As A Private client tax assistant manger, your responsibilities will include among others
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients which may including sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non UK domiciliaries, non UK residents, partnerships and trusts
- Identifying possible advisory possibilities and opportunities for the clients
- Give exceptional client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client team
- Acute awareness of what other parts of the firm can do to encourage cross-referrals
- Ensuring Evelyn Partners procedures are followed taking account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant
- Ensuring department KPIs are met around chargeable hours, billing and recovery targets
Qualifications Key Competencies:
- Must be able to plan workload in order to prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines and cope with pressure.
- Good written communication skills are necessary to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC to explain technical issues in an easily understandable manner.
- Must have good inter-personal skills to be able to liaise with clients and other staff members.
- Meeting deadlines and responding to client needs.
- Provide link in chain to supervise staff members and support Directors.
Education and Qualifications:
- ACA/ CTA or equivalent qualification.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience gained within a professional services firm.
- Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work.
