We are looking for an Advanced Team Leader to help us fulfil lives at our complex supported living service Doncaster Road, Ferrybridge, Wakefeild (WF11)
At Millennium Support, we specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities, Autism and complex trauma on their journeys through life and in the community.

We will provide you with
- £14.70 per hour (£28,665 per year) on a 37.5 hour per week contract

As an Advanced Team Leader, you will lead a team of Advanced Support Workers to deliver a bespoke and person-centred support plan for an individual with a learning disability, who may display behaviours that challenge and complex needs.
You will play a lead role in ensuring a therapeutic environment is provided and maintained that promotes choice, wellbeing and the promotion of an independent lifestyle for the People We Support. You will also play a key role in developing the potential of our support workers and helping reach their career goals.
What we are looking for
- Experience of working in the Health and Social care Sector
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Someone who holds or is willing to work towards a relevant Level 3 qualification.
- Someone who can act as ambassador for our core values
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- A genuine interest in and ability to develop team members potential.
What the job involves day to day
- Having a clear presence in the service and promoting a safe and open environment for both the People we Support and People We Employ
- Creating and managing rotas to ensure safe staffing levels are present in the service
- Supporting the ongoing development of service plans including support plans, risk assessments and behavioural plans
- Developing and maintaining positive partnerships with the People We Support and their own network of support
- Supporting the HR and Recruitment process to ensure the needs of the People We Support are met
- Communicating and regular reporting to the service manager
- Ensuring the environment of the People We Support is inclusive, safe and person centred
- Supporting the service to maintain regulatory requirements and policies and procedures are being followed
- Under the direction of the service manager, undertake internal audits and compliance reports
