Job Responsibility:

We have a great opportunity for a I&M Programme Co-ordinator to join our Electricity North West Services team in Kendal, Preston or Blackburn.

Our role

In this role you will co-ordinate the Operations I&M investment programmes and assist the design and implement tactical and major improvements to I&M programme management and operational compliance reporting processes, considering risks and ensuring adherence to standards and regulations. You will work with Operations and IT department business analysts to improve management information reports.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Assist the I&M Programme Manager with the management of the £24m Vegetation, Inspections and Maintenance programme, involving the co-ordination of approximately 15 Operations WLT and 200 DLO and contractors.
  • Understand, comply with and promote the ENW Health and Safety culture.
  • To interface with the finance team in relation to setting annual I&M business plans and the creation of monthly performance and compliance reports.
  • To provide assurance to Operations ELT and SLT that the I&M Programme will meet scope, time and cost targets.
  • To create monthly performance reports and co-ordinate monthly I&M review meetings.
  • To identify and implement continuous improvements relating to I&M compliance and performance management processes and systems.
  • To support the identification of benefits and the creation of business cases for the implementation of Major Improvements to I&M performance management processes and systems.
  • To interface with the Work and Asset Management team relating to I&M continuous improvement initiatives
  • To interface with delivery managers and staff to gather requirements for performance reporting and compliance major improvement initiatives
  • To assist the I&M Programme Manager delivering tactical business change associated with Operations directorate Compliance and Performance improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for To apply for this I&M Programme Co-ordinator role you will have proven experience of planning and coordinating programmes of works, managing risk and identifying and corrective action where appropriate.

  • Experience of monitoring and controlling operational performance such as output delivery, unit cost and compliance performance.
  • Experience of engagement with delivery managers and direct labour organisation to successfully deliver engineering programmes of works.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders as all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience of designing, maintaining, and analysing operational performance and compliance MI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks effectively, and identify improvement opportunities relating to the delivery of engineering programmes of work.
  • Expert IT skills covering all Microsoft Office packages, particularly the use of Excel.
