As we continue to increase capacity through our strengthened offer we are developing and expanding our Fostering Service, the opportunity has arisen for us to recruit to 2 x Fostering Recruitment Officers, 1x permanent full-time post and 1 x 12 month temporary 37 hrs post. Your Role As a Fostering Recruitment Officer in North East Lincolnshire Council's Children's Services, you will work as part of a team and play a pivotal role in recruiting Foster Carers to enable us to fulfil our ambition of children remaining within their local community, their schools and close to their family and friends. You will lead, develop and implement our recruitment strategy, network across the local area in partnership with local businesses to raise the profile of becoming a Foster Carer and the support they will receive in caring for our children. You will lead and participate in recruitment and community events both local and nationally during normal working hours and occasionally evenings and weekends. You will be part of a Fostering Service whose practice is highly valued and supported by skilled, knowledgeable and caring leaders and managers. You will be joining a service that is built on pride and passion, which has high aspirations for children and families and who are committed to empowering them to thrive and be the best they can be.
