Job Responsibility:

Location: Leeds (Hybrid, Flexible working arrangements) Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum Full Time - Part Time (4 days per week) also considered NG Bailey are currently seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to join our head office in Leeds. The role represents an exciting opportunity to drive the development of business reporting for sustainability, social value and fleet related activity across the NG Bailey Group. The role will suit an individual that is comfortable working independently and able to leverage their knowledge and experience to present a range of potential solutions. Extensive stakeholder engagement will be required across IT, operations, Finance and management teams to develop effective data visualisations that lead users to insightful action. This is a permanent position based at out Leeds office (LS12 6EH) and offers flexible, hybrid working. Although we are advertising for a full time position we are also open to a part time position (4 days per week). Core Responsibilities include:
  • Design, development, and ongoing maintenance of reporting solutions. Reporting will span all areas of Group ranging from operations through to finance.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define key metrics, and design reporting solutions and then turn business ideas into tangible tasks and requirements.
  • Work with relevant departments and teams and support/manage the delivery life cycle from design through to delivery.
  • Utilise user interface and data presentation to tailor reports for specific audiences including Board level and shareholder reporting.
  • Manage the completeness and accuracy of large volume datasets into meaningful MI that can inform critical decision making
  • Following best practice change control practices provide continuous improvement and support to the business ensuring the solutions stay fit for purpose
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven track record in the development of business reporting solutions, preferably using the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Familiar and competent in the use of Power BI and DAX and methods for user dashboard consumption
  • Managing multiple stakeholders and deliverables within defined timeframes
  • Managing the completeness and accuracy of large datasets
  • Experience in data manipulation including cleansing, translations, and data modelling
  • Expertise in turning business ideas into tangible requirements for yourself and other teams to collate on
Ideal applicants will also:
  • Experience in low code environments such as Power Apps
  • Proven and demonstratable UI and interface creation experience
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of modern data warehousing methods and use cases
  • Interest and/or experience in environmental and social data and the positive role business can play in improving society and the environment
