With presence in multiple countries and with over several thousand Third Party business engagements, Technology TPM is a critical function that is responsible for managing day to day risk presented by these operations.

In an increasingly governed and regulated environment the ability to provide assurance that all the models are being deployed in countries to an agreed standard is paramount.

The Technology Third Party Management - Third Party Risk Manager is a senior role expected to provide Subject Matter Expertise across Third Party Management for our most Material and complex Third Parties. The role will oversee and govern internal and regulatory obligations across Technology Third Party Management, which includes ensuring continued compliance, impact assessing new regulations / standards and working with key stakeholders to drive resiliency standards.

Third Party Risk Manager will be expected to:

  • Oversee Technology managed Important / Material Third Party engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Support Third Party Risk Assessments and internal processes in key risk domains, including Cybersecurity, Business Continuity and Exit Planning.
  • Govern identified Cybersecurity issues with Technology managed Third Party engagements, ensuring policy and processes are followed.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to colleagues across Technology Third Party Management.
  • Develop frameworks, processes, and guidance to enable business colleagues to meet regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Manage and input into key Third Party Management programmes impacting the Technology function.
  • Support development of and drive implementation of enhanced resiliency standards for Technology managed engagements.
  • Act as a point of co-ordination between key functions and SMEs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong experience in end-to-end Third-Party Management processes and understanding of IT supplier portfolios and the nuances there of.
  • Knowledge and experience of best practices in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) principles.
  • Detailed understanding and knowledge of core regulations, including:
  • PRA SS2/21: Outsourcing and third-party risk management
  • PRA SS1/21 Operational resilience: Impact tolerances for important business services
  • EBA Guidelines on outsourcing arrangements
  • The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) - Regulation (EU) 2022/2554
  • Strong understanding of Third-Party Risk frameworks and processes.
  • Experience in implementing Operational Resilience frameworks and ensuring resiliency throughout supply chains.
  • Understanding and experience in managing Cybersecurity risk and controls.

This role is based in London.
