We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our Health Records team at Broomfield Hospital. You will be responsible for providing patient records in a timely manner to wards and clinics for consultations. You should have a proven track record in handling health records and ability to work to deadlines. We are currently recruiting for full time and part time post between the hours of 07:00 -22:00 to be discussed at interview. The purpose of this role is to provide an effective Healthcare Records service for Mid Essex Hospital in accordance with agreed policies and procedures with direct/indirect supervision of the Health Records Team Leader. The Health Records Centre cover a variety of functions and the aim of the department is to ensure that Health Records folders are promptly available for all ongoing patient care. To work as an active member of the Health Records team in providing efficient support to the heath records service for the trust. Ensure Healthcare Records are available and prepared for outpatient clinics and all inpatients and other ad-hoc requests are made available to the requester within agreed timescales and deadlines, both clinical and non-clinical. Have an understanding of the consequences when records are not available and be able to deal with occasional exposure to stressful situations. On a daily basis, input data for computerised tracking systems and interpretation the borrower codes and location of records. With a workforce of approximately 15,000 staff, we can now do more and go further in delivering health services to our local communities. Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
