Volunteer OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Assistant to support our team in various administrative tasks. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in an office environment while contributing to our mission. The Volunteer Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing essential support to our staff and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
  • Support administrative functions such as filing, via sharpoints and email corresspondants
  • Utilise Onedrives and sharepoints for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations and posters as required.
  • Maintain an organised workspace remotely
  • Help with clerical tasks that may posters, drive content or newsletter articles
  • Familiarity with email and microsft is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using computer software, particularly Google Suite and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry and clerical work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in an office setting is beneficial but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
