Are you an experienced IT Technician? Is it time for a new and exciting challenge? If so, we have the role for you! Here at GXO, we have a new opportunity available for an IT Technician to join our team, working for one of our busy shared user sites at Northampton. You'll ensure that the systems (hardware & software) are running smoothly and any issues with the systems are resolved in the quickest time possible. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 4 on 4 off covering 8am-8pm Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to £27,209 per annum, and 23 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).   • Responsible for the physical appearance and safety of the working environment
  • Ensure all direct activities have a fit for purpose SOP and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Develop and maintain appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting mechanisms to monitor, control and improve performance
  • Review and improve processes relevant to the IT tasking and ensure they are fully documented and kept up to date
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • IT systems experience, ideally within a logistics/warehouse environment
  • Ability to work individually showing initiative
  • Takes ownership of processes and responsibility for own workload
  • Problem-solving and analytic skills
