Position Overview:

Excellent IT Solution Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Technician to join our dynamic Information Technology team. The IT Technician will serve as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues within the organization. Assist employees with troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • System and Network Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Address any performance issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Hardware and Software Installation: Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware such as computers, printers, and networking devices. Ensure all software is properly installed, configured, and updated.
  • Security Measures: Implement and manage security protocols to protect company data and IT systems from unauthorized access and potential threats. Regularly update security systems and conduct audits to ensure compliance.
  • System Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance to detect and address potential issues before they impact operations. Ensure high availability and reliability of IT resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures aimed at improving efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Management: Liaise with senior management to provide updates on IT operations, workloads, and project progress. Help set and achieve IT department targets by developing and implementing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skills and apply new knowledge to improve the company's IT infrastructure.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in configuring and maintaining servers, networks, and systems. Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting, as well as implementing IT security measures.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to addressing IT challenges.
  • A willingness to stay current with new technologies and adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.
