Job Responsibility:
Purpose
Working as part of the Operations team, and in conjunction with other departments this role we be responsible for ensuring that products and services meet or exceed the required standards of quality our brands & customer expects.
Key responsibilities
- Create and implement quality assurance processes, ensuring that products and services meet specified standards and customer requirements.
- Perform inspections and tests on products and processes to ensure they meet quality standards. This includes monitoring and documenting any deviations or defects and working to identify and address the root causes.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and quality.
- ensure that the products and processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
- maintain detailed documentation of quality assurance activities, including test results, inspection reports, and any corrective actions taken.
- investigate quality issues, identify their root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future.
- provide training to other employees on quality assurance procedures, best practices, and quality standards to ensure that everyone understands and follows the established quality protocols.
- assess potential risks associated with product or process quality and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Conduct regular audits to ensure that the quality management system is effective and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Desirable knowledge, skills and experience required.
- Experience of ISO9001:2015 & Internal Auditing
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment, in partnership with the production teams, and communicating with external stakeholders (customers and suppliers)
- Experience of using 8D, CAR, FMEA's & Control plans is essential
- Experience of embedding a Quality Management System
- Six Sigma Green or Blackbelt experience advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
