The Cloud & Custom Applications (C&CA) business unit is a core part of Capgemini UK's Application Services organisation. We specialise in the use of leading-edge technologies, forward-looking platforms, and agile delivery processes to develop business solutions for large private and public sector organisations. The C&CA capability teams provide the breadth of skills and experience required to undertake end-to-end delivery of these systems, services, and solutions. The Business Analyst team is a core part of C&CA, and Capgemini has invested significantly in building a market leading Digital BA capability. We have a team of over 70 BAs, and it is our priority to actively invest in and grow this capability through recruitment and training
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
- Work with senior stakeholders and business users to elicit, capture, analyse, refine, communicate, and document their requirements (both functional and non-functional)
- Represent the customer's vision and needs (acting as a proxy) and facilitate communication between the customer and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide support to the designers, architects and developers in the definition of customer journeys, wireframes and technical solutions.
- Validate that the To-Be processes support the customer's eTOM
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT trends, best practices and digital technologies in the telecommunications industry.
- Coach and develop our people, particularly our more junior BAs and Graduate community (for more senior BA positions)

Your skills and experience
- A track record of working on Telco IT development programmes with demonstrable experience of a variety of technologies such as CRM, CMS, mobile apps, social media, and Ecommerce.
- Solid understanding and experience of the eTOM framework
- Experience of designing business processes and a competent user of the business process modelling tool ARIS
- Experience of working with a recognised Agile or Iterative development methodology
- Agile documentation such as Backlogs, Customer Journeys, Use Cases, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, etc.
- Experience of a variety of requirements elicitation techniques, (e.g., interviews, questionnaires, user observation, workshops, role playing and prototyping)
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills able to present to internal teams and customers, with technical and non-technical backgrounds, and varying levels of seniority from user to board level.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
